The U.S. dollar strengthened against the Swiss franc and the euro in the Asian session on Friday.
The greenback approached 0.8994 against the franc for the first time since December 5. Against the euro, the greenback climbed to a 2-week high of 1.3626.
If the greenback extends gain, it may face resistance around 0.91 against the franc and 1.35 against the euro.
