The McClatchy Company (MNI) reported fourth-quarter net income of $12.5 million, or $0.14 per share, compared to a net loss of $30.0 million, or $0.35 per share, last year. Earnings, excluding the net impact of certain items, was $29.9 million.
Total revenues were $344.7 million, down 8.4% from the fourth quarter of 2012, which included an additional week due to the fiscal 2012 calendar.
