Autodesk Inc. (ADSK) reported first quarter adjusted EPS of $0.32 after the bell Thursday, down from $0.42 a year ago. Analysts expected EPS of $0.21. Second quarter adjusted EPS is expected to be between $0.25 and $0.30. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $0.28.
Autodesk gapped open sharply higher Friday morning and is now up 2.84 at $50.66 on above average volume. The stock has climbed to nearly a 2-month high.
