Greek producer prices increased at the faster rate in eighteen months in June, a report from the Hellenic Statistical Authority showed Tuesday.
Producer prices increased 1.1 percent year-over-year in June following the 0.6 percent rise in May. This marked the fastest growth in prices since December 2012.
Domestic producer prices climbed 1.5 percent in June.
Among the sub-categories, consumable consumer goods prices increased 0.2 percent in June. Energy prices grew 4 percent year-over-year in June.
Meanwhile, prices of intermediate goods fell 1.6 percent. Prices of capital goods and consumer durables declined 0.7 percent and 0.2 percent, respectively, in June.
On a month-over-month basis, producer prices rose 0.4 percent in June, faster than the 0.3 percent increase in May.
