Greece's industrial production continued to decline at a sharper pace in June, preliminary figures from the Hellenic Statistical Authority showed Friday.
The industrial production index dropped a working-day adjusted 6.7 percent year-on-year in June, after a 0.9 percent slight decline in the previous month.
Production has been falling since April. The latest decline was the fastest since July last year, when production fell 7.2 percent.
Manufacturing output decreased 3.6 percent annually in June and those of mining and quarrying industry declined 3.7 percent. Production electricity also tumbled by 18.2 percent.
On a monthly basis, industrial production climbed 4.3 percent in June, faster than May's 3.0 percent growth. It was the third consecutive month of increase.
In a separate report, the statistical office announced the import price data for the month of June. The import price index fell 0.8 percent yearly in June, slower than May's 1.4 percent drop. Import prices have been falling since November 2012.
Month-on-month, import prices went up 0.7 percent in June, following a 0.4 percent rise seen in May. This was the second successive monthly increase.
