German media holding company Axel Springer SE (AXELF.PK) said it has made 87.4 million euros of consolidated net income for the third quarter of 2014, compared with 31.0 million euros last year. On an adjusted basis, quarterly consolidated net income amounted to 47.9 million euros, versus the previous year's 46.2 million euros.
Total revenues for the quarter went up by 8.2 percent year-over-year to 741.1 million euros from 684.8 million euros.
Looking ahead, the firm expects to generate a mid single-digit percentage increase in Group-wide total revenues in fiscal year 2014. Also, it anticipates that the expected decrease in circulation revenues will be more than offset by the planned increase in advertising revenues and other revenues.
For the adjusted earnings per share, the firm sees low double-digit percentage increase compared with 2013.
