African Barrick Gold Plc. (ABGLF.PK, ABG.L) said further to the approval of shareholders at its General Meeting held on November 26, the company changed its name to Acacia Mining Plc. with immediate effect.
Trading in shares under the new name will start at the commencement of trading on November 27.
The company's International Securities Identification Number will remain unchanged.
Acacia is hosting an Investor Day today to set out its long term strategy and
present five year plans to demonstrate the cash generating potential of its
asset base.
