Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) reported fourth quarter EPS of $1.56 Monday morning, down from $1.91 a year ago. Analysts expected EPS of $1.34.
Exxon Mobil gapped open slightly higher Monday and posted gains in the first half hour of trade. The stock extended its gains going into the close and finished up by 2.16 at $89.58. Exxon Mobil rebounded off of support at the lows of the year.
