Midwest Air Group Inc. (MEH) announced schedule enhancements on two routes as part of its 2007 strategic growth plan. The airline will add a second nonstop roundtrip between Milwaukee and Los Angeles during peak travel periods to meet customer demand. Midwest will also expand its Milwaukee-Tampa, Fla. service by adding a second roundtrip during the summer season.
The additional summer season service between Milwaukee and Tampa begins May 1. The additional service between Milwaukee and Los Angeles begins July 1.
Midwest Air said Flights between Milwaukee and Los Angeles are operated as Midwest Airlines Saver Service, which features nonstop service and low fares to leisure destinations.
Flights between Milwaukee and Tampa will include one daily roundtrip operated as Saver Service and one roundtrip six days a week operated as Midwest Airlines Signature Service on Midwest's new Boeing 717 aircraft featuring two-by-two leather seating, extra legroom, and Recaro seats with adjustable headrests and footrests.
