Greece's unemployment rate rose slightly in June, data from the Hellenic Statistical Authority showed Thursday.
The jobless rate came in at 25.2 percent in June, compared to 25 percent in May and 26.6 percent in June 2014. The rate seen in May 2015 was the lowest since June 2012.
The number of unemployed decreased by 2,609 in June from the prior month and by 81,474 from last year.
At the same time, employed people totaled 3.58 million versus 3.54 million in the previous year.
Meanwhile, the youth unemployment rate, which applies to the 15 to 24 age group, declined to 48.3 percent from 49.4 percent a year ago.
