A leading economic index for the South Korean economy was down 0.3 percent in July, the Conference Board said on Tuesday - falling for the third straight month.
That follows the 0.2 percent contraction in June.
For the period of January through July, the leading index has added 0.6 percent.
The coincident index climbed 0.4 percent, the think tank said, after showing a flat reading in June.
For the period of January through July, the coincident index is flat.
