Greece's current account deficit narrowed in November from a year ago, figures from the Bank of Greece showed Wednesday.
The current account deficit fell to EUR 1.2 billion in November from EUR 1.49 billion in the corresponding month last year.
The goods trade deficit dropped to EUR 1.59 billion in November from EUR 1.70 billion a year earlier. At the same time, the surplus on services trade shrank to EUR 375 million from EUR 567.6 million.
Meanwhile, the primary income balance turned to a surplus of EUR 27.4 million in November from a shortfall of EUR 274.4 million in the same month of the prior year. The secondary income deficit decreased to EUR 23.4 million from EUR 84.5 million.
The capital account surplus came in at EUR 190.2 million in November, down from EUR 485.7 million in the preceding year. The deficit on financial account narrowed to EUR 422.7 million from EUR 861.3 million.
