Greece's unemployment rate decreased marginally in November, after remaining stable in the previous month, figures from the Hellenic Statistical Authority showed Thursday.
The seasonally adjusted jobless rate fell to 24.6 percent in November from 24.7 percent in October, which was revised from 24.5 percent. Economists had expected the unemployment rate to fall to 24.4 percent.
In the corresponding month last year, the jobless rate was 25.9 percent.
The number of unemployed people decreased by 3,718 from October and by 55,857 from November 2014.
The youth unemployment rate, which applies to the 15 to 24 age group, dropped to 48.0 percent in November from 51.4 percent a year ago.
