Eurozone investor confidence dropped to the lowest since April 2015, survey results by Sentix showed Monday.
The investor sentiment index fell to 5.5 in March from 6.0 in February. The index dropped for the third consecutive month in March and reached its lowest level since April 2015.
The Eurozone suffers from the loss of economic momentum of the global economy, the think tank said.
The current situation index declined to 8.3 from 10.5 in February. At the same time, the expectations index improved to 2.8 from 1.5 a month ago.
The deterioration of investors' perspective on the current situation in the Eurozone should resupply dovish members of the European Central Bank council with enough ammunition to demand significantly more expansive monetary stimulus on Thursday's ECB meeting, Sentix said.
Meanwhile, Germany's investor confidence index rose to 16.9 in March from 14.5 in February.
