New Zealand's job advertisements increased for the fourth straight month in June, but at a slower rate than in the previous month, the results of a survey by ANZ showed Friday.

Total job ads rose a seasonally adjusted 0.2 percent month-over-month in June, following a 1.8 percent climb in the previous month.

Newspaper ads grew 7.9 percent over the month, reversing a 12.8 percent fall in May. At the same time, internet job ads dropped 0.3 percent, in contrast to a 3.1 percent increase in the prior month.

The annual growth in the rolling 3-month average of job ads volume accelerated to 7.2 percent in June from 4.6 percent in the preceding month.
