Eurozone producer prices increased for the second consecutive month in June, figures from Eurostat showed Tuesday.
Industrial producer prices rose 0.7 percent month-over-month in June, slightly faster than the 0.6 percent climb in May.
On an annual basis, producer prices fell at a slower pace of 3.1 percent in June, following a 3.8 percent decline in the preceding month, which was revised from a 3.9 percent fall reported initially.
Excluding energy, producer prices edged up 0.2 percent over the month, while it dropped 1.0 percent from June 2015.
Energy prices alone plunged 8.7 percent annually in June, while it grew 2.4 percent on month.
