The manufacturing sector in Vietnam continued to expand in October, albeit at a slower pace, the latest survey from Nikkei showed on Tuesday with a manufacturing PMI score of 51.7.
That's down from 52.9 in September, although it remains well above the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separates expansion from contraction.
Individually, there was a faster rise in new orders and a marginal drop in output.
Also, there was a record increase in stocks of purchases.
