China house price growth slowed in October as local governments took measures to tighten property market, official data showed Friday.
Compared to September, house prices increased in 62 cities out of 70 in October, the National Bureau of Statistics reported Friday. In September, prices had increased in 63 cities.
Prices declined in 7 cities and remained unchanged in one.
Shenzhen, house prices slid 0.5 percent from September. House prices in Beijing rose only 0.6 percent.
