South Korea's consumer confidence weakened notably in November, survey figures from Bank of Korea showed Friday.
The composite consumer sentiment index fell by 6.1 points to 95.8 in November from 101.9 in October. It was the third successive monthly decline.
Consumer sentiment on current living standards decreased to 90 in November from 92 in the previous month. Similarly, their outlook worsened to 93 from 98.
The index measuring current domestic economic conditions dropped markedly to 60 in November from 72 in the prior month. Likewise, their outlook was 16 points lower at 64.0.
The expectation for inflation over the following year was 2.5 percent. The survey was conducted among 2,200 households between November 11 and 18.
