Thai Manufacturing Sector Contracts In November - Nikkei

The manufacturing sector in Thailand continued to contract in November and at a faster pace, the latest survey from Nikkei showed on Thursday with a PMI score or 48.2.

That's down from 48.8 in October, and it moves further beneath the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separates expansion from contraction.

Individually, production and total new orders both contracted at faster rates, while input inflation remained muted.

In addition, companies continued to trim their staffing levels.
