New Zealand's wholesale sales increased for the second straight quarter in the three months ended September, figures from Statistics New Zealand showed Monday.
Wholesale trade rose a seasonally adjusted 1.0 percent from the second quarter, when it grew by 1.7 percent. In the first quarter of this year, sales had fallen 0.2 percent.
"The September quarter's rise in total wholesaling was led by agriculture products and motor vehicles," business indicators senior manager Neil Kelly said.
