New motor vehicle sales in Australia were down a seasonally adjusted 0.6 percent on month in November, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said on Wednesday - coming in at 97,055.
That follows the 2.4 percent slide in October.
By category, sales for passenger vehicles fell 0.6 percent and sales for sports utility vehicles added 0.2 percent. Other vehicle sales were flat.
By region, the largest downward movement was in the Northern Territory (-1.6 percent), while the largest upward movement was in Tasmania (1.3 percent).
On a yearly basis, sales were down 1.1 percent after rising 1.2 percent in the previous month.
