European Economics Preview: Germany's ZEW Economic Confidence Data Due

Economic confidence and final consumer prices from Germany are due on Tuesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 3.00 am ET, Destatis is slated to issue Germany's final inflation data. Inflation is seen at 2.2 percent in February, in line with the preliminary estimate.

In the meantime, Statistics Finland releases consumer price figures for February.

At 4.00 am ET, Spain's final inflation data is due for February. Final inflation is expected to match the flash estimate of 3 percent.

At 4.30 am ET, Sweden's consumer prices report is due. Economists forecast inflation to rise to 1.7 percent in February from 1.4 percent in January.

At 6.00 am ET, Germany's ZEW economic confidence survey results are due for March. The economic sentiment index is seen rising to 13 in March from 10.4 in February.

Also, Eurozone industrial output data is due at 6.00 am ET. Production is expected to rise 1.4 percent month-on-month in January, reversing a 1.6 percent fall in December.
