Business confidence in New Zealand improved in May, the latest survey from ANZ Bank revealed on Wednesday with an index score of 14.9.
That's up from 11.0 in April.
The bank also noted that its activity outlook climbed to a score of 38.3 from 37.7 in the previous month.
