The Singapore stock market on Wednesday ended the two-day losing streak in which it had fallen almost 20 points or 0.6 percent. The Straits Times Index now rests just above the 3,265-point plateau and it may add to its winnings on Thursday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is upbeat thanks to solid economic data and a spike in crude oil prices. The European and U.S. markets were higher and the Asian bourses are tipped to follow that lead.
