SRS Labs Inc. (SRSL) announced the recent formal awarding of patent 7,200,236, entitled "Multi-channel audio enhancement system," to cover its SRS TruSurround audio enhancement technology.
Specifically, the patent covers methods of processing a multi-channel audio source to create a simulated surround sound environment through playback of only two output signals.
