7-day Averages Of US COVID Metrics Decline To New Low

The seven-day average of daily coronavirus deaths, cases and hospitalizations in the United States has declined to a new low, as per the U.S. Government's official data.

At a routine press briefing by White House COVID-19 Response Team and Public Health Officials Thursday, CDC director Dr. Rochelle Walensky presented a significantly improved picture of the results of the nation's fight against the pandemic, citing the latest CDC data.
