Moderna To Replace Alexion Pharma In S&P 500

Moderna Inc. (MRNA) will replace Alexion Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ALXN) in the S&P 500 effective prior to the opening of trading on Wednesday, July 21, S&P Dow Jones Indices said in a statement.

AstraZeneca Plc (AZN, AZN.L) is acquiring Alexion Pharmaceuticals in a $39 billion deal expected to be completed soon pending final closing conditions.
