Reflecting a mixed reaction to the latest batch of earnings news, stocks are showing a lack of direction in morning trading on Wednesday. The major averages have been bouncing back and forth across the unchanged line.
Currently, the major averages are turning in a mixed performance. While the Dow is down 20.39 points or 0.1 percent at 35,736.49, the Nasdaq is up 58.62 points or 0.4 percent at 15,294.33 and the S&P 500 is up 2.34 points or 0.1 percent at 4,577.13.
