MDU Resources Group, Inc. (MDU) said Monday that it has completed its acquisition of Cascade Natural Gas Corp. Cascade is now a subsidiary of MDU Resources.
Under the terms of the deal, which was originally announced in July 2006, Cascade shareholders will receive $26.50 per share. Including assumption of Cascade's debt, the deal is valued at about $475 million.
Cascade was founded in 1953 and employs nearly 380 people.
