Australia Construction Work Done Increases 1.8% In Q1

The total value of construction work done in Australia was up a seasonally adjusted 1.8 percent on quarter in the first quarter of 2023, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said on Wednesday - coming in at A$57.686 billion.

That beat forecasts for an increase of 1.5 percent following the 0.3 percent contraction in the three months prior.
