The National Association of Realtors released a report on Friday showing pending home sales in the U.S. skyrocketed by much more than expected in the month of December.
NAR said its pending home sales index spiked by 8.3 percent to 77.3 in December after slipping by 0.3 percent to a downwardly revised 71.4 in November.
