Volution Group Plc (FAN.L), a maker of indoor air quality solutions, reported Friday that its first-half profit before tax went up 28.4 percent to 29.0 million pounds from last year's 22.6 million pounds.
Basic earnings per share were 11.1 pence, up 29.1 percent from 8.6 pence a year ago.
Adjusted profit before tax was 35.0 million pounds, compared to 31.8 million pounds last year. Adjusted basic earnings per share were 13.7 pence, compared to 12.4 pence last year.
Revenue grew 6.3 percent to 172.5 million pounds from 162.3 million pounds a year ago.
Further, the Board has declared an interim dividend of 2.8 pence per share, up 12.0%. The interim dividend will be paid on May 7 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on April 2.
Looking ahead, the company said its Board is confident in delivering adjusted earnings per share for fiscal 2024 slightly ahead of consensus.
According to the company, the Bloomberg consensus adjusted earnings per share forecast for the year ending 31 July 2024 is 26.1 pence.
