What's Driving These Stocks Higher In After-hours?

The following are some of the stocks that moved up in after-hours trading on Wednesday.

Cidara Therapeutics Inc.'s (CDTX) common stock began trading on a 1-for-20 reverse split-adjusted basis beginning April 24, 2024. The company announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement with Johnson & Johnson to reacquire the exclusive global development and commercial rights to CD388, which is in development for the prevention of all strains of influenza A and B. Cidara also closed a definitive agreement for the sale of preferred stock in a $240 million private placement led by RA Capital Management, with significant participation from Bain Capital Life Sciences, Biotech Value Fund, and Canaan Partners.
