U.K.-based Coats Group plc (COA) engaged in manufacturing industrial sewing threads worldwide on Thursday announced that Group CEO Rajiv Sharma has decided to step down and leave the group by the end of 2024.
Subsequently, the Board appointed David Paja as Group Chief Executive designate. David is expected to join on September 1 and assume responsibilities on October 1.
David Paja was until recently the CEO of GKN Aerospace, part of Melrose Industries PLC. Prior to this, David held senior leadership positions at Aptiv, Honeywell and Valeo.
