The China stock market has finished lower in consecutive trading days, surrendering almost 40 points or 1.4 percent along the way. The Shanghai Composite Index now sits just above the 2,800-point plateau and it's likely to extend its losses again on Wednesday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is broadly negative on concerns over the global economy. The European and U.S. markets were sharply lower and the Asian bourses are tipped to follow suit.
