Ceres Power Holdings plc (CWR.L), a fuel cell technology and engineering company, said Friday that it has appointed Stuart Paynter as its Chief Financial Officer or CFO and Board member, after Eric Lakin decided to step down as CFO. The new appointment is effective 1 October 2024.
Eric will remain with the company for sufficient time to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities, Ceres noted.
Stuart Paynter most recently served as Chief Financial Officer and Board Director of advanced therapies innovator Oxford BioMedica plc. He also worked at FTSE 100-listed Shire Plc in various finance and strategic roles. Stuart is a Chartered Accountant and has a degree in Physics from Imperial College, the company said.
