Novocure's Optune Lua Gets FDA Approval For The Treatment Of Metastatic Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Shares of Novocure (NVCR) are up over 28% at $22 in premarket trading, following positive regulatory news related to Optune Lua, a wearable cancer therapy system that delivers Tumor Treating Fields, or TTFields, therapy.

Optune Lua has received FDA approval for use concurrently with PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors or docetaxel in adult patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (mNSCLC) who have progressed on or after a platinum-based regimen.
