Dassault Systèmes Q3 Revenue Rises, But Cuts Annual Revenue Outlook

Dassault Systèmes SA (DASTY.PK), a provider of software solutions and services, Thursday reported profit before tax of 308.2 million euros for the third quarter, higher than 298.2 million euros in the same quarter a year ago, primarily helped by financial income of 32.1 million euros. The company has cut its full-year revenue target, while maintaining EPS outlook.

Net income was 239.7 million pounds or 0.18 euros per share compared with 243.5 million euros or 0.18 per share last year.

Excluding one-time items, non-IFRS net income was 380.1 million euros or 0.29 euros per share, higher than 371.3 million euros or 0.28 euros per share in the same quarter a year ago.

Operating income declined to 276.2 million euros from 302.5 million euros, while non-IFRS operating income was down to 432.6 million euros from 442 million.

Revenue for the quarter grew 3 percent to 1.464 billion euros from 1.425 billion euros in the previous year. Software revenue increased 3 percent year-on-year to 1.31 billion euros.

for the full year, Dassault now expects revenue to grow in the range of 5 percent - 7 percent, down from the previous outlook of 6 percent - 8 percent. It continues to expect EPS in the range of 1.27 euros - 1.30 euros for the year.
