At the 2024 Annual General Meeting, Rob Scott, Chief Executive Officer of Wesfarmers Ltd. (WES.AX, WFAFF.PK), acknowledged the uncertain economic outlook and ongoing challenges, while highlighting the company's resilience, strong balance sheet, and diverse growth platforms.
Wesfarmers announced that Jennifer Westacott is to retire at the end of her current term as a director in 2025. Julie Coates will be appointed as a non-executive director, effective 1 May 2025. Westacott will retire as a non-executive director by rotation at the conclusion of the 2025 Annual General Meeting, expected to be held in October 2025, and will not seek re-election.
