The Taiwan stock market has moved lower in two straight sessions, tumbling almost 575 points or 2.4 percent along the way. The Taiwan Stock Exchange now rests just above the 22,980-point plateau and it's looking at another soft start again on Wednesday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is negative ahead of key U.S. inflation data later today. The European and U.S. markets were down and the Asian bourses are expected to follow suit.
