ADC Therapeutics Reports Positive Initial Data From LOTIS-7 Phase 1b Study; Stock Up In Pre-market

ADC Therapeutics SA (ADCT) Wednesday reported positive initial data from the LOTIS-7 Phase 1b study evaluating Zynlonta in combination with Genentech's Columvi for the treatment of Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), a type of blood cancer. The company's shares were more than 6 percent up in pre-market.

Initial data from the study showed that Zynlonta plus Columvi demonstrated clinically meaningful benefit in DLBCL patients with overall response rate (ORR) of 94 percent. Complete response (CR) was achieved in 72 percent. Further the drug combination was well tolerated.

Zynlonta is already approved by the FDA to treat Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

"We believe these data support our hypothesis that combining these two potent, approved, single-agent-drugs with complementary mechanisms of action will yield additive or synergistic efficacy, and a manageable safety profile given no overlapping non-hematologic toxicities, enabling administration across care settings," said Mohamed Zaki, Chief Medical Officer of ADC.

ADC stock had closed at $3.48, up 8.41 percent on Tuesday. It has traded in the range of $1.01 - $6.04 in the last 1 year.
