Skanska AB (SKSBF.PK), a Swedish construction company, said on Monday that it has invested 90 million euros in a commercial development project at Pasila in Helsinki, Finland.
Firdo, the 14-storey building, will have around 15,000 square meters of office space.
The construction contract is worth 55 million euros, which will be included in the company's fourth-quarter Nordic order bookings.
Construction of the project is scheduled to begin in January 2025 and will be completed in the second quarter of 2027.
Skanska Finland has also signed a 13-year lease deal for a new head office at Firdo. The lease agreement accounts for approximately 5,500 square meters, about 37 percent of the building.
Skanska Finland is expected to take occupancy of its new head office in the second quarter of 2027.
