Apyx Medical Submits 510(k) For AYON Body Contouring System To FDA For Approval

Apyx Medical Corporation (APYX), an advanced energy technology company, announced on Monday that it has submitted a 510(k) premarket notification to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or FDA for its AYON Body Contouring System.

AYON Body Contouring System is designed to be the first all-in-one solution for comprehensive body contouring in the surgical suite. This system integrates advanced modalities to address multiple aspects of body contouring, including fat removal, tissue contraction, and aesthetic enhancement.

Later this year, Apyx plans to submit an additional 510(k) for power-assisted liposuction indications, expanding the system's capabilities.

Currently, APYX is trading at $1.71 up by 1.27%.
