Vir Biotechnology, Inc. (VIR), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, on Wednesday announced encouraging early data from its ongoing Phase 1 trials of dual-masked T-cell engagers, VIR-5818 and VIR-5500, targeting solid tumors and metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, respectively.
VIR-5818 is a T-cell engager targeting HER2-expressing cancers, and VIR-5500 targets PSMA in mCRPC. The trials are evaluating the safety, pharmacokinetics, and efficacy of these candidates in heavily pretreated patients.
