Akebia Therapeutics, Inc. (AKBA), which recently launched its oral chronic kidney disease anemia drug, Vafseo, in the U.S., is optimistic that 2025 will be a transformative year for the company.
Vafseo received FDA approval in March 2024 for the treatment of anemia due to chronic kidney disease (CKD) in adults who have been receiving dialysis for at least three months and was launched in the U.S. early this month.
