Kamada Ltd. (KMDA), a biopharmaceutical company specializing in rare and serious conditions, announced on Monday that it has been awarded a three-year contract with an international organization for the supply of its products KAMRAB and VARIZIG in Latin America for the years 2025 to 2027.
KAMRAB is used for post-exposure prevention of rabies, while VARIZIG is indicated for post-exposure prophylaxis of varicella zoster (chickenpox) in high-risk individuals.
The total value of the contract is expected to be approximately $25 million, with a portion of the revenue anticipated for the calendar year 2025 included in the company's recently announced revenue guidance.
This contract underscores the global strength of Kamada's specialty immunoglobulin portfolio and supports its long-term growth strategy, particularly in international markets beyond the U.S. and Canada.
