Greencore Group Plc (GNC.L), an Irish food company, on Thursday recorded an increase in revenue for the first quarter.
For the three-month period to December 27, 2024, the Group posted revenue of 474.3 million pounds, up 7.5 percent from the same period last year. This is due to an increase in volumes and mix, including the benefit of net new business wins of 4 percent, and the positive impact of inflation recovery and price of 3.5 percent.
On a like-for-like basis, the company registered a revenue growth of 4.9 percent.
Revenue from Food to go categories improved by 7.2 percent to 314.7 million pounds, while Other convenience categories generated revenue of 159.6 million pounds, up 8.1 percent from the previous year.
Looking ahead, the company expects to post its full-year performance in line with current market expectations.
