The Singapore stock market has moved lower in three straight sessions, slipping almost 40 points or 1.1 percent along the way. The Straits Times Index now sits just above the 3,815-point plateau although it may stop the bleeding on Thursday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is upbeat following a drop in U.S. treasury yields. The European markets were mixed and the U.S bourses were slightly higher and the Asian markets figure to split the difference.
