Precision BioSciences Shares Initial Safety And Antiviral Data For PBGENE-HBV In Hepatitis B

Precision BioSciences, Inc. (DTIL), a clinical-stage gene editing company, on Wednesday shared promising initial data from its Phase 1 ELIMINATE-B trial evaluating PBGENE-HBV, a novel gene editing therapy for chronic Hepatitis B.

The PBGENE-HBV therapy, which is delivered via a lipid nanoparticle or LNP encapsulated ARCUS mRNA, was found to be safe and well-tolerated in all three participants at the lowest dose level 0.2 mg/kg after the first administration.
